Dance, Dance Revolution in my Belly!!! And Layla's birthday!!!

Oh my goodness! I believe that if I lay belly down on one of those Dance Revolution mats and let Rylee go at it, she would make a high score! She is kicking fierce now! Mike's cousin, Kayla, got to feel her moving around last night. She's really the only other one besides Michael who has felt her at all. She's shy around her MeMaw...

Yesterday was Layla's 3rd birthday party! She had so much fun! I was worried that the adults would be bored, but I believe they had just as much fun (if not more) than the kids! My dad showed up to show support for my family. He's the only one. It's a humbling feeling, but it meant so much to me that he was there. I may not be Layla's mom, but one day she'll be my step daughter. He made my day when he called her his granddaughter, and I truly feel that he feels that way.

When you graft two families together, you always wonder how the pieces are going to fit. It's unlike a puzzle, where specific pieces go together and there is a specific order to things. No, family is more complicated than that. When you graft together two pieces of clay, there is work that you must do to ensure that the two seperate pieces stick together. You have to cut grooves, opposite lines or gashes in the two pieces of clay. Sometimes it takes more grooves to hold the pieces together... My dad was the first groove... Thank you so much daddy :D

My camera was out of commission so I will try to get pics from someone else and post them here ASAP!

Hope everyone is doing well!

Random Updates... GO DAWGS!

Today marks that we are officially 24 Weeks - 6 months! I feel like it is starting to fly by! We started registering for gifts at Babies-R-Us today and it is starting to sink in... There are so many things you need for one small person, for what seems like a short period! It's hard to think that we just got Layla potty trained and we are about to start all the way back at the beginning. Well... Michael will be starting all over, I'll just be starting ;)

I will figure out how to get the link for the registry and post it here. For now, you can just go to Babiesrus.com and search for Kristen Gaynor under the registry link. It's not done, and we will probably register at Target as well but I really would like to walk around and see the items. Doing it online is HARD! I registered for stuff I know we will need like car seats, diapers, bottles, etc. I will eventually have it all on there, even little things we want but maybe don't need... I'm thorough!

We had a doctors appointment (or what seems like fifty million) Friday. They went well. Just a checkup at the OB which I thought was supposed to be more extensive and include a gluclose (sp?) test to see about gestational diabetes. They will test for it on my next visit in 3 weeks. They measured my belly and weight gain and said everything is perfect! PHEW! I've gained 13lbs so far... (FEELS LIKE MORE!!) We had another ultrasound as well, which secured that our daughter has 10 fingers and toes, feet the size of her little head (she gets from her daddy - tee hee hee), and that she is healthy and right on track! She is weighing in at around 1.5lbs now! That was our final visit to the fetal diagnostic center.

While we were waiting, there was another couple talking about how funny it would be if they were actually having a boy. Mom was 29 weeks and had been told at 20 weeks that it was a girl. She said she has always felt like it was a boy though. They had just painted the nursury and many friends had given them lots of pink girl clothes. To their surprise, they are in fact having a boy!! We were so shocked for them and both of us sat there in awe of what we would do if Rylee was suddenly a boy! Needless to say, she is still a she! :D

Well, like always we hope everyone is doing ok. We made some changes to the page... Hopefully these updates are reaching everyone! We love you!

Busy, Busy! Blairsville trip and Family Reunion

I am 23 weeks along, but no updated belly pics... There really isn't much change at all... She is still about the size of a papaya right now so... Active as ever as well! She is constantly kicking and moving around. Her movements are getting more powerful too (uh oh!)

We had a great time in Blairsville at the lake for family vacation! Here are some of my favorite pictures from the trip!

We had such a great time! There are so many more pictures, I think I took over 125 in all, but I'm not going to post them all here... If you'd like, check out these links for all the pictures...

Part 1 of the trip...
and... Part 2...

In other news, we are looking forward to the two doctors appointments we have this Friday. One at the fetal diagnostic center, the other at my OBGYN. This trip will not only ensure us that Rylee has 10 fingers and toes, but will also determine whether or not I have gestational diabetes. I sure hope not cause you all know I love my sweets!!! We'll get more ultrasound pictures, and I'll be sure to get them up here as soon as I can!
I hope everyone is doing good, and I hope you are all subscribing to this so you get updates as soon as I type them via e-mail! Let me know if you are still having trouble with that.

22 weeks down... How many more to go?

UPDATES!!

* How far along?: 22 Weeks

* Total weight gain: about 15 pounds (I think)

* How big is baby?: The size of a papaya?

* Maternity clothes?: Yes, yes and YES!

* Stretch marks?: None yet, but I am feeling mighty tight!

* Sleep?: Already having nightmares about LABOR!

* Best moment this week? Watching the Georgia game with friends (even though they lost :( ) and just spending some "us" time together...

* Movement?: More like acrobatics!

* Food cravings?: Sweets, anything a little spicy :D

* Labor signs?: No, thank heavens!

* Belly button in or out?: How about flat?

* What I miss: All my CUTE fall outfits, guess that means it's time to go shopping!

* What I'm looking forward to: Vacation in Blairsville next weekend with Michael's parents, Andrew, Rachel and Addison!

* Milestone: Moving in together... FINALLY! I'm all moved out of Tracy's!!

According to THE book (What to Expect When Expecting),I should have gained about 12-15lbs thus far. Slower weight gain helps minimize stretch marks. I am SO worried about stretch marks! lol So far so good though! Rylee is still as active as ever. I try to have half her energy most days!

The Georgia game was quite an upset and daddy wasn't a happy camper come 7pm! But we enjoyed the time we got to spend with friends and family, watching and playing football.

We completed the move of all my JUNK into the basement, and now we can finally say that we live together! It's been a long time coming but we're finally here! Yay!!

4 more days until we are on our way to Blairsville for the family vacation! 3 more days until Rachel and Andrew arrive! So exciting! This week should prove to be fun and I hope to have a lot of pics to post when we get back! Stay tuned for some pics from Game Day (9/5/09).

PICS FROM GAME DAY!!!
Not much belly change...
GO DAWGS!!!!

Starting this blog... thing...

Hello all! We are creating this blog to keep everyone in the loop and not to leave anyone out! We will be posting pictures here as well as any other important information so be sure to keep checking back with us!

So far, mom is 21 weeks along and the baby is VERY active! She will be a natural at gymnastics, that's for sure! A big decision was made this week, we decided on a name!

♥ Rylee Jayde Malone ♥

This was a long drawn out process, and after going through the biggest book of baby names EVER we finally settled on one we like! We hope you like it too! Stay tuned for pictures... we are still trying to figure this whole blogging thing out!

Vacation is in 10 days and we cannot wait! Spending the weekend in Blairsville with Michael's family. Andrew, Rachel and Addison will be here from Mississippi too! First time they will have seen us since Michael's Nana passed away.

Layla is very excited and says she can't wait to see her baby sister! She asked Kristen the other day how her baby sister got in her belly. Puzzled, Kristen didn't know how to answer the question, but Layla was quick to respond, "You ate her!! That's how she got in your belly!!" She is just too smart! She will be 3yrs old September 23.

Rylee Jayde Malone at 18 weeks!
**We have another ultrasound September 18 so we will have more pictures to post then! **
Bad pic of mommy, but 5 months along! (20 Weeks)

I hope that this will work for everyone, it is very important to us that we don't leave anyone out. Our family and our friends are very important to us, so please subscribe to the blog and that way we can keep in touch with all of you! We hope everyone is doing well.
